| Geek Cred’ | Truantology’s mother…that’s enough, isn’t it? |
| Bio | Born & raised Long Islander. I’m a programmer/analyst in the Division of Information Technology at a “major research university” on Long Island. My areas of specialization are in Web and Lotus Notes Application Development, focusing mostly on secure e-commerce and data collection. I’ve been on campus since 1993. When I’m not staring into a monitor I turn wood. Most of my woodturning is one of a kind hollow forms and ornaments. I enjoy adding other elements to my pieces, such as, piercing, carving, texturing and airbrushing. |

| Bio | 30++++ Musician, turned geek, turned salesman, turned musician, turned all around Gig Pig who enjoys long lazy days not letting the man get me down. I Like messing with broken stuff (can’t make it any worse, it’s already broke… right) and am an Internet / Computer / Music Junkie with the social skills of a rabid cat in heat on a Sunday… Also, being a classically trained French Hornist, when not “computing” you’ll find me playing in any/all of my local Orchestras, teaching the youth of my area private Horn lessons, playing brass quintets, and brass bands… oh and Xbox360 games. I’m not good, but I play them none the less. As a hobby I turn small, non complex, wooden gems using my Jet mini Lathe. |
